Rob is very responsive and helpful. The cabin is perfect for a family vacation and has everything necessary. The location is far enough away from the sometimes crazy noise and traffic around the lake but is easily walkable to the lake and all the stores nearby.

Wonderful stay right by Pinecrest Lake. Host was amazing and always available for questions. Check in process was simple. I could have spent the entire week on the wrap around porch but my grandson preferred the lake. Great fire pit for s’mores and conversation with the family. Everything was exactly as described and hope to be back there again. Great memories we will never forget.

The Barger Cabin is a great family vacation get-away at the amazing Pinecrest Lake. The cabin has all the amenities you could want. The cabin has a modern spacious master bedroom with bath, and three upstairs bedrooms, two of which are adjoining. It comfortably sleeps 8 - 10 people. The kitchen is small but very functional, and it is fun to cook in this authentic, old-school kitchen. The cabin has a spacious deck that invites outdoor living, and in the summer at Pinecrest, that is where you want to be. It is just a short walk to the lake and is super quiet and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Robert Barger is very communicative and helpful too. Thanks Barger's!

This cabin is fantastic. Rob has the description of the cabin very well detailed and the descriptions are accurate. It is easy to get to and in the perfect location for a quick stroll to the lake but far enough away to keep you away from the craziness and the noise sometimes that happens nearer to the lake. Easy, quick drive to Strawberry, Twain Harte or Dodge Ridge. The cabin is well stocked with the primary cooking/dining necessities. There is a deck that runs from the front around the side with plenty of room for dining or even outdoor movie nights (we brought a projector and movie screen). There is a gas grill in the back and a nice fire pit near a large rock in the back. There is a driveway that leads to a short stairway to the front door, that means no extra hiking up a steep hill or staircase just to get into the cabin. Rob is a pleasure to work with. He is good at responding to questions and was very helpful in assisting us in every way we needed.
