Had a great stay, the location is easy to find but still peaceful and quiet. Very kind biscuits and wine waiting for us after our long journey! Lovely little barn with good amenities, and a nice grass area for walking the dog before heading out. Located near to Happisburgh, you can walk along the coast, but also near to other attractions like Blickling Estate. Recommend Cafe Carmel (vegan cafe nearby), and a trip to Horsey Gap to see the seals. Would definitely return to stay here again!
Such a beautiful place, beautifully decorated, super comfy beds, wine, biscuits awaiting our arrival, highly recommended, will definitely be going back 😀
Idilic place for a retreat. Close to nearby beaches and towns. Comfortable furniture and bed. All amenities at hand including a fully equipped kitchen and spacious wet room. Paddock to walk the dog and friendly neighbourhood. Would recommend the beach at carp gap, with handy car parking and cafe nearby note it doesn’t open till 10am.
I really enjoyed the ambience of Owl Barn. Quiet rural setting in an area of Norfolk I like and reasonably near the sea. Comfortable, clean accommodation and friendly neighbours. Sarah was very responsive to sort out a couple of queries I had at the beginning so all good. I’d stay here again.
Happisburgh is home to the oldest working light in East Anglia, and the only independently run lighthouse in Great Britain. It dates back to 1790 and you can visit this charming building during public open days and climb the steps up to the lantern.
This property is in a rural location and a car will be needed. The nearest train station is Wroxham (13 miles).
