Loved it here. Water had lowered a lot the week or two before our stay but we still had fun getting dirty and kayaking around. It was nice to have spotty service(depending on carrier)and no tv to just be able to let go. Thank you guys so much.

Instructions to arrive were perfect and clear. We loved staying in this beautiful yurt. It was clean, super spacious, and cozy. It also has a really nice area outside to eat and hang out (bring bug spray). It has a full kitchen, with everything you will need to prepare a meal. We liked the rustic outdoors shower, but it needs some fixing. Our favorite part was the lake. It was beautiful, and you can use their kayaks and paddle boards. To access the lake by car, you will need a 4x4 as is clearly instructed in the house manual. My husband decided to ignore this, and drove our van down the lake, well we got super stuck. Thanks to Ben who had to push us up hill and we finally made it, but please don’t be us, believe me it may seem easy but you will need a 4x4. Thank you Chazlynn and Ben for sharing your piece of paradise with us, hope to come back again.

I am grateful to have stayed in such a fun yurt! Took my little sister for her birthday and she loved it. Spacious, nice, and though you're sharing property, it's very private. As a host, they really thought about everything you might need while you're there. The only downside is it wasn't fully communicated that a AWD 4x4 car is necessary to drive down to the lake. Wish I could have planned around to do so. Overall I am happy with my stay and would recommend it to those looking for a glamping style stay!

The lake access and use of their kayak and paddle boards was amazing! They also let us use a fishing pole and provided a lure, which the kids loved - they caught and released many many fish. The actual lodging is very rustic, and not insulated. The swamp coolers are no match for a triple digit day, but if you just stay at the lake until the sun goes down and things start to cool off it's not bad. The hosts were great - very responsive and kind! Their neighbors were loud with a lot of shouting and revving of engines until the early morning hours, but there isn't much the hosts can do about that. The property is also very pet friendly. Do know the lake is down a pretty steep hill, so take what you think you'll need. You won't want to keep going back and forth, especially when it's hot.

We had a nice time at the yurt. The beds are comfortable and the private lake access is a huge perk! We did have an ant issue...One of our group woke up because her bed was CRAWLING with ants. That was super unpleasant, but seems like it might have been an unusual occurrence caused by the serious heat. Also, our host Sophia was very responsive and helpful. She came down with 20 minutes of us texting to place ant traps and change the sheets, and our second night had many fewer bugs.
