Seacrest Villa is an exquisite guesthouse situated on tranquil Leisure Isle inside the Knysna lagoon with its' ever-changing tides flowing through the spectacular Knysna Heads. It is fully equipped and has full back up solar & battery power ensuring an extremely comfortable and relaxing holiday. With a separate cottage, this guesthouse is able to sleep a further four people. The Villa offers free uncapped WiFi, full bouquet DSTV, flat screen LED smart T.V’s, BBQ facilities and private parking. The Villa has 4 en-suite bedrooms which are luxuriously stylish and bright, 3 king size and one twin room. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, 1 queen and the other twin. Seacrest is perfect for small groups, which can rent the entire guest house and cottage or individually. Each open-plan kitchen features a gas oven, fridge freezer, tumble dryer, dishwasher and microwave. The Villa offers an outdoor seating area and opens beautifully into the dining room and kitchen area making for a lovely entertainment venue. There is a weber braai available for your use though we ask that you please supply your own charcoal. The house and cottage both have alarms and secure parking is provided for two cars, though more can easily park outside of the garage and in space that is demarcated outside of the property. Other things to note: This property is not wheelchair friendly. No smoking please. No pets please. No noise after 11pm. The Villa offers two stand up paddle boards, two single kayaks and one double kayak for our guests use as well as two bicycles. The kayaks offer a very easy way for first time users to experience the Knysna Lagoon. They are light and easy to transport and life jackets are provided. The two bicycles are ideal exploring Leisure Isle, for popping off for a quick breakfast on the island or to one of the benches dotted along the shore for sun-downers or a quick swim. They are also perfect for getting around Knysna where nothing is too far from home. There is an electric gate through which you can enter the double garage. The garage allows access to the Main house or you may choose to park outside the garage area and enter via the front door. The cottage has a separate entrance. There is also parking outside of the property on the paved areas located next to the gate. There is an alarm system in both the cottage and the main house which has a 90 second delay, allowing you plenty of time to disarm it. Your host will show you how to arm and disarm it on your arrival. Other things to note: There are no shops on Leisure Isle so it’s best to get food and provisions from town before you arrive. Nadine's Corner coffee shop is open for light meals, delicious tea, coffee and cakes and provides small amenities you may require such as bread and milk. Bodega Café is a wonderful new coffee shop to Leisure Isle and is proving extremely popular – we can definitely recommend her jam and scones! Seacrest Villa is close to the lagoon where one can enjoy a swim or walk across to East Head Café at low tide. At low tide you can also enjoy the interesting plant life and may even be lucky enough to spot an Oyster Catcher. The Steenbok Nature Reserve is used regularly by dog lovers, walkers and runners. The island offers beautiful sunsets which can be enjoyed on Bollards Bay. It is a safe area where children can ride their bicycles and bowling and tennis courts are also available. Within 20 minutes of driving distance from the house, golfers can choose between 3 world golf courses to play at. The Knysna Elephant Park is 26km away. Within an hours’ drive there are pristine beaches and forests to enjoy and Knysna has an array of excellent restaurants. Amenities: Open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen.
