Maxine's place in Oban is an absolute gem! Right at the base of McCaigs Tower it has beautiful views. The walk into town is under 5min though keep in mind it's an uphill walk back but definitely easy enough. Maxine is a responsive and friendly host who made our stay very easy. As mentioned it is a small place but we travelled with an infant and fit a travel portacot in without too much drama and had no issues for our two nights! If the weather permits the outdoor space is just delightful!

Très bon accueil, logement propre et en adéquation avec description (donc petit mais bien conçu). Petit warning sur l'emplacement, très en hauteur par rapport au centre ville, impliquant donc une bonne montée. Le McCaig's Tower, juste en face du logement, offre une super vue de la ville.

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage bei Maxime. Die Unterkunft ist klein aber fein :) Sie hat alles was man braucht. Der zusätzliche Außenbereich ist super. Es gibt auch einen Schirm der zumindest bei leichtem Nieselregen schützt. Wir waren sehr zufrieden

What a magical location. The surroundings, and the view from McCaig’s Tower, are sublime. It is a steep climb from the town centre though Although small, the tiny house had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We had the best nights sleep during our visit!

Had a wonderful time at Maxine's tiny house. Great location with free parking nearby. We met Maxine after we first arrived and she was very kind and friendly. Location is great, though up a hill from downtown Oban. I'm a bit out of shape and I still could get from the very bottom to the house in under 10 minutes. It is a tiny home, but was very comfortable for the two nights we were there. Highly recommend this place! Would be very happy to stay again.
