Definitely a 5 star stay! the house was beautiful - neat, clean and wonderful decor. The location is fantastic as well - right on the Columbia river with view of the wildlife and passing marine traffic. The neighborhood is private and very quiet, but only a short drive into the small town of Cathlamet, where there are several cool restaurants, shops and a waterfront brewery. If you need larger town excitement or conveniences Longview is only about a 30 minute drive. Overall we had a great stay - Jeanine is a very gracious and responsive host. I would certainly recommend her place to anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing stay.

Very comfortable, extremely clean, lots of fun decorations. Great location to chill out. Deer and birds provide entertainment to enjoy and relax. The deck and beach chairs provide a great view of the Columbia river. It is just a wonderful place to relax and slow down. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and the wifi was perfect. Her descriptions were accurate. Easy to find, and the city of Cathlamet is close.

It was everything as advertised with the best location. We had deer visit in the front yard and backyard. The beach was sandy (no rocks) and the water great. we brought our bikes and biked the island one day. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The cottage is wonderfully comfy while the appliances were better than mine in my house. The ferry is just 1 minute away from the cottage. It was fun to take the ferry over to Oregon; its only 15 minutes. We cannot wait to book another stay!

We’ve done AirBnB for many years now and this one is one of the best. The location was perfect for our adventures kayaking the Lewis & Clark river, checking out the coast highway and hiking in the Columbia River gorge. Everything was better than expected. Pictures don’t do this place justice. Super clean. We loved the local brewery in Cathlamet (River Mile 38 Brewery.) We had outstanding meals in Astoria at El Jarocho and Old Oregon Smokehouse in Tillamook.
