We had a great time at the Shootout. The has was exactly as advertised. Very clean and comfortable.

We had a great time. Kids used kayaks and swam off the dock. House was very comfortable and relaxing.

If owner/management did two things, house would go from 3 stars to 5. First, pest control is badly needed. Deck and martini deck are overrun with ants and spiders. There is no way to sit outside at either without having ants all over you or spending half your time clearing spider webs. I even tried spraying and putting out ants traps myself, to no avail. Secondly, upon arrival the house was obviously going thru maintenance. To our surprise, the 3rd bedroom had zero window coverings and the TV was off the wall in the closet. Sun blaring in with no privacy made this room very uncomfortable for our child. I thought maybe the owner wasn't aware of these issues and immediately texted him to see if these things could be addressed. Unfortunately, the response was "we just finished painting the bedroom. Updates in progress.... and Ants and spiders are always present at the lake and it is a constant battle. We are sorry for the inconvenience! " Any professional pest control would've helped.

Lovely, cozy home. Location on the water was great. Easy to find by car. There are a lot of steps (stairs) from the house to the dock. Beds were comfortable. The master bathroom was very spacious.
