Cozy family home close to the centre of Haarlem. Built around 1906 and renovated recently, this house with 3 floors and 3 bedrooms is located in the middle of a street with terraced houses. The beach is 15 mins by train or car, 30 mins by bike. The well known nature reserve Kennemerduinen is just around the corner, and is a beautiful area to walk, hike, run or cycle around in. Spacious living room and kitchen downstairs. The kitchen and bathroom (also downstairs) are newly installed in 2018. The kitchen leads to the garden that always has some shade during the day. Upstairs you will find the parents bedroom with a comfortable double bed (180cm x 210cm), as well as a second toilet. There is also a guestroom, but that’s now being used as office space since we work from home. There is also a single bed in there. On the second floor there are 2 childrens rooms. The room at the front of the house has a very comfortable bed of 90cm x 200cm, the room at the back a double bed of 160cm x 200cm. Finally, we have a pet: a cat named Loewie. We would be very grateful if you are willing to feed her and take care of her. Low maintenance cuddly and happy animal ;-).

Minne and Albert are wonderful hosts. From the start, the communication was great! Minne took the time to inform us about everything to make our stay comfortable. The home is located in a quiet, safe, family friendly neighbourhood. There was more than enough space for our family and the unit is fully furnished and equipped with all amenities. Haarlem is a quaint city with small town charm and Minne’s home is located just a short walk to the main street with ample options for restaurants and shopping. A supermarket/grocery store (chain) is located a few blocks over, making it convenient for grocery shopping. About a 10-15 minute walk to Haarlem bus/train station makes this home’s proximity to Amsterdam very easy (just a 20-25 minute ride on the train). Minne also took the time to provide us with some suggestions for dining and things to do around Haarlem. We enjoyed our time in the Netherlands and hope to be back soon. Thank you very much!
Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. La casa se adaptaba perfectamente a nuestras necesidades, en una zona tranquila, cerca de la estación de tren (12min andando) y espaciosa. La casa es preciosa, está superlimpia y la comunicación con Minne es una maravilla, siempre pendiente de nosotros y de los ur pudiéramos necesitar. Muy recomendable
Minne is such a nice host! Communication was really good from the beginning, she even managed to let us have an early check-in. The house is beautiful, located in an amazing, secure and quiet neighborhood. We have been working remotely there and internet connection was working really good, never had a problem. It has a functional kitchen to cook and shower pressure was good. It's a 15 minute walk from the center. I would really recommend reserving this house.
Wonderful town house in the heart of Haarlem. We liked the stylish interior and the cosy beds a lot. The hosts Minne and Albert were super nice and gave us an in-depth tour of the house when we arrived. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Minne and Albert are great hosts. The communication was always courteous, very friendly and always quick and helpful. The apartment is beautifully furnished and located in a great neighborhood in a quiet street with historic houses. Haarlem is a beautiful city and with its proximity to the sea, the apartment is the perfect starting point for discovering all kinds of places, be it the surrounding national park, the historic old town of Haarlem with its lovely streets and channels or the endless wide sandy beach of the Dutch west coast. We would come back any time, thank you very much!

It's a cozy neighbourhood, and we know our neighbours. I'd say a pretty closeknit little community. There is a shopping street around the corner as well as 2 large supermarkets.
There are several bus stops close by, and it's around 10 mins walking distance from the Central Station. A train will take you to the centre of Amsterdam every 15 mins, as well as within 15 mins. Trains to the beach depart every 30 mins.
Of course the easiest way to get around is by bike. There are plenty of places where you can rent (electric) bikes or even electric cargo bikes.
