What a magical place this was for our family. We shared our nightly meals on the deck wrapped in peaceful and serene surroundings after long days of adventuring around. We loved every moment of our time here! The beds and linens were of very high quality and loved that we had darkened shades so our kids could fall asleep at a decent time through the late summer sun shine! We would highly recommend this place that was so thoughtful of guest accommodations.

Maybe the Shearer’s Cottage needs a but of an update here and there, but that’s a small thing compared to the beauty of the farm and the generosity of our hosts, Anna and Ian. This is truly a special place.

The Shearer’s Cottage was a lovely retreat, tucked away in gorgeous farmland and bush. Anna and Ian are kind and gracious hosts. They met us when we arrived, kindly gave us suggestions for places to see and things to do (given the unseasonable tropical storm we found ourselves in, their advice was incredibly helpful). The house was comfortable, clean and spacious with comfortable beds. Cell service was in and out but that made for an even nicer stay in my opinion! Our family had a great stay here.

A truly magical cottage in the most beautiful surroundings. Anna and Ian went above and beyond to make our stay special. Our little boy loved learning about the farm and we especially enjoyed the private swimming hole by the lake. Will definitely return!
