What a fantastic week! We were 10 adults, one teenager, one child and one toddler - 13 in all for a family reunion. Enough room for everyone and there were lots of private spaces as well. We especially loved the sunroom which became the music room. The kids (and the adults) loved the dock and all the available water toys (kayak, paddleboard, and paddleboat). Swimming to the island across the bay was a favourite activity. The water was clear and wonderful. We did have some rain during our stay but it was nicely timed so that we never missed any swimming days and we made use of the great indoor games. The kitchen was really well stocked - we didn't lack for anything (and there were a lot of cooks in the kitchen as we all took turns). The two fridges were very handy. There were several ladder ball competitions which was a great game for all three generations. Thank you to Florence and Richard for offering your lovely home - we made a lot of wonderful memories!

What an amazing cottage! Florence & Rcihard offered very timely and thorough communication. We are experienced renters and this was by far, the most well equipped. From toilet paper, to laundry soap and tin foil, it was so very helpful to have some basics there for our needs. The dock and water were amazing, we very much enjoyed use of the paddle boat, paddle board and kayak. Everything was very clean and the beds were so comfortable! Highly recommend this location!

Perfect family destination is right! This cottage was everything we wanted and more for our family holiday this summer. Not only is the property beautiful, it was private and very well equipped with everything you may need. Books, games, and a Firestick for relaxing on rainy days, zero gravity chairs and floaties for soaking up the sun by the water. Comfortably hosts 13 people with ease, we were a group of 8-10 and definitely could have had more. We found the water in the bay a little rough while we were there, as it comes off big water on Charleston. The dock had bumpers already attached and we added a few of our own off the boat to be safe. Florence and Richard are excellent hosts, and even provided us with all the campfire goodies (chocolates, graham crackers, marshmallows). They were prompt to respond to any questions or concerns we had while we were there. Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven!

This is a tremendous home with lots to do. It is super clean and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking materials, cutlery and dishes, etc. The water is amazing and great for jumping off the dock and swimming. The firepit is intimate and offers great opportunities to chat into the evening. Thank you Florence and Richard for another wonderful vacation full of memories.
