Very much as described and in line with the other reviews. Spacious 2 BR + den, fast internet and two smart TVs, well fenced yard - we were comfortable for a three-week stay. Randy was very communicative and easy to deal with. Trailheads are a few minutes' drive away, or you can walk a few blocks to access informal trails on either side of community with beautiful views. There's livestock around the neighborhood like ducks, goats, horses and even a peacock, as well as cows and wild elk in adjacent areas. Lots of barking dogs - honestly, our dogs loved it, and spent a lot of time outside. The barking wasn't loud or bothersome when we were inside, especially at night time. As an aside, most of the playground equipment visible in streetview of the nearby "Mesa Del Park" isn't there. But there are nice playgrounds a short drive away in Payson. This was a great base to explore surrounding national forests, as well as longer excursions into Phoenix, Sedona etc.

Second time here. It’s peaceful and relaxing. Fenced in yard is a plus for pups. I’d recommend.
