Erneuter Besuch im Haus von Filiza. Wir wurden herzlichst von ihr begrüßt, alles war blitzsauber und genauso wie im Inserat und auf den Fotos beschrieben. Fast unzählige Balkone zum Verweilen. Wir waren nur zu zweit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, besonders der große Balkon war sehr gemütlich. Die Küche ist mit allem eingerichtet was man benötigt, auch Gewürze, Essig und Öl etc. war vorhanden. Die Betten sind sehr bequem, die Klimaanlage benutzen wir nicht, sondern schliefen mit offenem Fenster. Dadurch wurden wir morgens vom Verkehr geweckt, was uns aber gar nicht störte. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern hört man nichts. Zwei Minimärkte sind in unmittelbarer Nähe, dadurch hatten wir morgens frisches Brot und mehrere Tavernen, auch ganz nah, sind sehr gut. Wir konnten viele Ausflüge machen und mit Izabella hatten wir auch noch eine deutschsprachige Ansprechpartnerin, wenn wir etwas benötigt hätten, was nicht der Fall war. We couldn't have had a warmer welcome to Crete. Even though we didn't arrive until after 1am, Ioanna's mum was there with a huge smile to let us in and show us around. The house is beautiful, with a terrace for every time of the day. The beds are extremely comfortable and the air conditioning very efficient. We couldn't fault the kitchen, and indeed the amenities generally. We loved the village and the range of tavernas and shops, and spent our money locally where possible. The location is great for some stunning beaches, including Matala, and we can recommend a boat trip to Paximadia. The best thing about our stay was the hospitality of our hosts. Communication with Ioanna was really easy, and her mum was so lovely, bringing us home cooked food, and gifts at the end of our stay - we didn't want to leave! We have come home with such a warm and positive experience of Cretan people and places and will definitely be back.

La casa di Sivas e' veramente molto spaziosa, sviluppata su due piani, con un bel patio coperto nel retro per mangiare e stare rilassate durante le serate. E' situata a due passi dal centro di un paese caratteristico e tranquillo, con ampia disponibilita' di ottime taverne e strategico per visite a diversi siti di interesse sia storico (Festo, ma anche Iraklion e Cnosso) sia vacanziero (spiagge). La casa presenta con un certo tocco di storicita', qualche ragnatela, il frigorifero non stabile al suolo, i due bagni piuttosto datati. Contatti facili e cordialita'.

Beautiful house In Sivas, close to lovely Tavernas and different beaches are just a short drive away. Communication with Ioanna was easy and smooth and the house had everything we needed. Definitely recommend this place!

We had a great stay at Ioanna's house. It's a charming stone house with amazing openings and views to all the sides of the building, meaning that there is always a balcony or garden with shadow to enjoy your breakfast/lunch/dinner or just to relax outside. Moreover, the ground floor of the house is very cool, even in the very hot summer days. The bedrooms in the upper floor are all air-conditioned. The house is fully equipped and you can cook or wash your clothes during your stay. The host was very helpful and responsive to all our inquiries and tried to accommodate all our needs. The house is located at the village of Sivas, a small but beautiful village, where you can find all you need (taverns/cafes/mini-markets/butcher). The nearby beaches of Komos and Matala are very nice to swim; Matala being more touristic and noisy than Komos, so you can choose according to your mood where to go to enjoy the sea. Also, the archaeological site of Faistos, which worth a visit, is nearby. The bigger village of Kamilari is only few minutes drive away; there you can find a bigger variety of taverns and cafes to spend a nice evening. In total, we enjoyed our stay at Ioanna's house and we definitely recommend it and would stay there again!
