My husband and I had a very relaxing evening. They were close to Goderich which has very nice restaurants. There was a nice walking trail right behind the hotel. The continental breakfast was wonderful. There was a wonderful selection of fresh fruit, meats, bakery and dried fruits.

Overall a nice stay. Samuel's description and photos of the place being a "riverview" was not really accurate. There was a view of trees and the river was below a hill far off and couldn't be seen from the room. A busy road (hwy 21) was seen and heard clearly. There was also noise frequently heard from neighbours through the wall. The terrace was nice for sitting outside but not really private because the neighbours on each side were very close and could be seen through the spaces of the dividers. As well, people freqently walked by our unit with their dogs. The complimentary breakfast was lovely and the kichen staff was friendly and attentive. The cleaning staff was also friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely dog friendly and accommodating to pets which was most important to us.

Our stay had a great start because our room was ready when we arrived at the property 1.5 hours before the check in time. We were allowed to go to our room immediately! It was good to be able to freshen up before exploring the area. Joanne, who was the reception, was extremely nice and helpful. After checking us in, she gave us recommendations for restaurants to visit within the vicinity of the hotel, which were excellent! Check out was a breeze, too! Will definitely stay there again.
