*The Feast of Aubergine - In the region of Leonidio grows also the famous tsakonian aubergine. It is established for years, the last ten days of August to organize the feast of aubergine. The Municipality of Leonidio organizes in Plaka, a traditional feast where the traditional dances of the area are revived. The program includes also cooking contest with foods where their dominant material is the famous tsakonian aubergine, which distinguishes because it is the only one with sweet taste.
*Melitzazz - Melitzazz festival is a colorful, multi-national gathering of cultures, in the capital of Tsakonia, Leonidio.
