This place is such a gem! It’s been on my wish list for some time! I was thrilled we finally could make time to come stay as a family. We loved being there in the quiet, wintery off season. The igloo and the fire features Sylvia has outside are a genius use of the space and make it really special. We loved spending time out there. The igloo was nice and toasty with the heater and the heated blankets. We were lucky enough to have snow while we were there which made it all the more magical! Sylvia is a fantastic host and is welcoming and helpful to her guests! She met us at the house, showed us around and how things worked and gave us lots of great local recommendations. So nice and clearly wants her guests to have a great experience! This is a 5++++ star Airbnb! Highly recommend!, any season! It’s beautiful, clean, she leaves it stocked with treats- just all around amazing! So glad we were able to finally make it!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Somerset cottage. Sylvia is the ultimate host. The cottage itself is gorgeous, and so well maintained! The decor is beautiful, the cottage is immaculately cleaned, and it's located on a beautiful private beach!! What more could anyone ask for? -- A fantastic, thoughtful host with customized daily recommendations for the local area?? Done! My kids had a blast playing in the sand, and Sylvia provided plenty of beach toys. You won't regret booking this spot.

My wife and I had such a wonderful time at Sylvia’s place! The home itself is beautifully done and very clean. We felt like we were staying at a nice hotel, not a vacation rental. The outdoor areas are pretty spectacular and the day beds, corn hole, fire pits, nice patio furniture, projector, etc really made it so we didn’t ever want to go inside. We were also pleasantly surprised with just how much Port Stanley and the surrounding area had going on late summer/early fall. Sylvia was a great host and offered a lot of great suggestions in addition to getting everything perfect and ready for our arrival the day of. All in all, great place and a great trip. Would absolutely recommend and will be trying to come back in the future.
