Leuke boerderij voor een weekje maar niet geschikt voor mensen langer dan 1.70m. Redelijk stoffige woning waardoor de mijn man erg moest niezen als hij in de woning was. Zelfs ik had er last van terwijl ik geen last heb van stof. De douche is erg laag. Ik met mn 1.68 kon er net in staan. Woning is redelijk verouderd. Er is wel veel keukengerei en het schoonmaak artikelen. Ook is er een wasmachine. Ruime woning met redelijk goede bedden. Zeer gastvrij en bij mooi weer kan je buiten eten.
I eventually had a pleasant stay at the house and no complaints there, but the company Belvilla which places the Airbnb ad is a true disgrace! I have no idea why Airbnb accepts intermediaries like this scam company. Belvilla (unlike other real hosts) does not mention in the house ads that tourist tax needs to be paid additionally and separately, but does send a voucher after booking which states that these tourist taxes need to be paid to the house owner directly. Belvilla does not respond to e-mails or messages. Calling them takes one hour each time and resolves nothing. Belvilla spams Airbnb users who book with a high amount of annoying automated messages, which should not be allowed. So i had to discuss the issue of taxes with the house owner directly (in my broken German) and involve Airbnb support to resolve this. Not ideal when on holiday and one wants to relax! My firm opinion: stay away from anything related to Belvilla. They were already fined in 2017 by Dutch consumer authorities for unfair trade practices and it is clear their practices continue, as the fine apparently was not high enough. I feel sorry for the real house owner that I need to write this, as I had no issues with her or her house. I just think her place is extremely poorly represented on this platform (for example: the kichen is fully equipped: it has all you need to cook and eat, but that is not clear from the ad).
