Wonderful stay! If our travels bring us back through Portland, this is the first place we will be looking for!

Sara and her amazing little cabin in Portland are such a find- this little gem of a place hosted our family for a 4 night stay … we loved the privacy and everything was as described. This place takes the cake for charming details and rustic accents that make the heart swoon. We loved the sunken living room in the master bedroom and our daughter adored the smaller bedroom with its cozy linens and pretty windows. The place is well stocked. We did a little light cooking while there. Try the pizza place next door - its yumm- dispensary next door gave me a discount bc I was staying at the Airbnb. Sara knew we were coming with a 1 year old and stocked the place with a portable crib. We were grateful not to have to unpack ours. There are stairs but we just kept the doors to those areas shut and the little fella was able to explore freely. Sara is responsive and friendly and made our stay a pleasure. Don’t get me started on the window seat, hot tub, pretty shower… and the basement drums :)

This place is literally an urban oasis IF you don’t get squeamish in the face of poverty and industry. Pulling in, you are right in the thick of both. We had zero issues, but it was a jarring juxtaposition every time we left this little haven. We love creative spaces with character, and this place delivered beyond our expectations. The yard is so very pleasant, even before the hot tub. The beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen, while not generous on counter space, is totally workable. Plenty of comfortable seating in the living room was nice for a place this size. Our 11yo son loved the cozy little spot off the bigger bedroom. Even though we shared the room with him, he definitely felt like he had his own special space. In short, everything was just right. Highly recommend if you got past the first paragraph. Felt like we were in a snug little bubble once pulled in and settled inside the fence. The pizza around the corner is pretty good. Otherwise, mostly driving from here.

Loved staying here! The location is perfect and the house itself is beautiful. Very private. This cottage has everything you’ll need.

Loved how the place is decorated and its vibe. Also loved the hot tub. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this place. However, there are a couple of things worth noting. The location of this place is in an industrial area that is a bit rough so keep that in mind. I personally did not run into any issues but it certainly felt a bit uncomfortable arriving and leaving the cabin. There is also no ventilation in the kitchen so if you intend on cooking expect to trigger the smoke alarm. Other than that, I loved everything else about this place.
