Good place in a local area. 5 min by scooter to the beach

This has personally been one of my favorite rentals in Da Nang. I have stayed in many in the area and this one has checked all the boxes of what I am looking for. The host is an amazing, kind family that lives on the first and second floor. Floors 3-6 are studio apartments. (Don’t worry, there is a elevator). Which is actually pretty cool in itself. It is completely plexiglassed. Even though the rooms are studios, the layout is done very well with the bed on one side and the kitchen along with a huge table which is very useful and a nice sized Samsung Smart TV on the other. I had a front facing room which was beautiful and you can see the ocean. The rear views have a view of the Son Tra mountain so either way you can’t lose. The area: the area is in Son tra so there is a more local vibe here which I very much enjoyed. Being in the western district of An Thuong was nice but I am IN Vietnam so I wanted to be around the locals. Right next door there is a coffee shop which I was there every morning, tasted great and very cheap. The local market is right around the block where you can pick up fresh fruits, vegetables etc. if you’re not much of a cook directly across the street there is a Korean BBQ place which is a buffet that also has hot pot. At the end of the street there is a bakery for all your banh mi needs. Also, a few steps away there are 2 of convenient stores (tap Hoa), a jewelry store to convert any money needed. All in all, I didn’t have to stray too far from the street. The cons if I wanted to nit pick: the street itself does have a few pot holes. I like to ride my longboard but the roads is a little bumpy. There is a karoke bar behind the house that does get a little noisy at times, but being a front room I don’t really hear it, I’m assuming the back rooms might get some of the music. Overall an amazing new and stylish place and very recommended visiting Da Nang and wanting a more loca vibe feel but still close to the beach.
