Beautiful home. The only thing I can say that the process to renting the home is very long and I didn’t like that the pool was not cleaned on our first day of arrival and there were no trash bags. But other than that great place n location

Really great location (the beach is a five minute walk down the road and the Carolina Beach "downtown" area is perhaps a 25 minute walk down the road)! The Airbnb is well suited to fit 8-10 people into, with plenty of beds and common space to hang out in. Furthermore, the Airbnb is well stocked with plates, glasses, cookware etc. Having a pool attached to the property is also a big positive. On the flip side, the communication process from the management company does leave a bit to be desired. They ask you to sign into their web portal to get check in directions etc. and I had to call them multiple times to get the access code. Secondly, the cleanliness of the Airbnb (especially the pool and the carpets) show this to be a rental only property which is turned over as many times as possible with as little overhead as possible. They do ask you to bring your own soap (bath + dish) etc. but the soap provided is negligible to the point that you'll need to go to a store the night you arrive. The bedsheets and bath towels are saran wrapped and left in each bedroom versus actually being put on the bed / in the bathroom. This property is relatively cheaper than others in the area so this is definitely a value rental versus a luxury rental. I do scratch my head a bit on why providing say $10 worth of soap would break the bank so much. :/

House was very spacious. My family fit perfectly and comfortably (9 adults and 3 children). Be prepared for a lot of stairs as kitchen and living room are on the second floor. There was an issue with a toilet in one of the upstairs bathrooms that we were informed off after we had checked in on Saturday, and that the plumber was supposed to stop by that same evening. Before we left Monday, plumber was still a no go, so we were one bathroom short our whole stay which sometimes was a hassle. Some of the dishes weren’t washed, and looked like they were just put in the drawers. Grill was very dirty and rusted as well. Pool was definitely a plus. Overall we were satisfied with our stay minus the few little things.

The house all together was great. The house was spacious for my family. We had 3 couples, 2 individuals, and 6 kids, but had a bed for everyone. The sofa bed was amazing as well. Only down fall was the pool was cleaned an hour after we checked in, they only gave us 1 towel/ washcloth per person, we had to wipe down the games and kitchentables bc of dirt, and the stairway was steep and the rail on the 2nd floor was broken. This house was a bit tough with the amount of stairs. Also with children it’s a little unsafe.
