Our family was stuck with no place to go after a nightmare experience trying to check into another rental we had booked on High Rock Lake. As we sat at the Tamarac Marina trying to figure out where to take our 2 daughters, I found Brads Place and messaged him to see if there was ANY way his house was available to rent right away for the weekend. He immediately replied and told me to give him a minute to have his property manager double check that everything was good to go. Thankfully it was and so we were able to check in right away. I wish I had just booked Brad’s Place from the beginning! It was such a great stay! Everything we needed and more. We loved the dock and canoe and our 8 year old little girl learned the art of love of fishing after catching 13 fish in one day! It was a perfect stay and we’re so thankful! Thanks again, Brad! We’ll be back!

Brad was an amazing host! The house was excellent, very warm and cozy feeling! The kitchen has everything you will need for your stay and more! The beds are comfortable and extra pillows are provided! We had an amazing weekend on the lake enjoying the kayaks & water toys! The kids had a blast!! The neighbors were very friendly!! I’m looking forward to our next time we book!! I would recommend to bring a baby gate for the stairs if you have small children on your visit, other than that the house is amazing!

The place was described and pictured accurately. Being it was Spring NC Weather with cold mornings and nights and hot temps during the day, the outdoor living area with the fireplace and gas heater was absolutely perfect!! It was a great location on High Rock Lake for fishing. Even if you didnt have a boat the cove where rhe house is located was great with the canoes and kayaks that were provided. There were plenty of parking spaces available with our families 2 vehicles and his bass boat trailer. Dock access and near by marina (5min) away made it very easy to load/unload our boat. The water was up from the rain so we weren't able to get under the bridge, so just food for thought if you are looking to fish the entire lake during your stay. It was very quiet at night. The yard was immaculate and a very easy walk out to the dock. The rooms are small with no closets if you choose to book longer stays here, just a heads up. We are looking forward to booking this house in the future.
