We had a great stay at Shelley's cabin, quiet and peaceful setting on Sleepy Creek. My family enjoyed visiting Berkeley Springs and Harpers Ferry while in the area. Cabin had everything needed, beds were very comfortable, and the best part is it's pet friendly!

Shelly’s place is in a beautiful private setting along a stream. It is well equipped to be cozy inside with a stocked kitchen, a pellet stove and a very comfy living room area. There are a lot of windows to let in natural light. On nice days you can take advantage of the beautiful setting by grilling out on the deck and sitting by the fire pit along the side of the house. It is located at the end of a private road. It feels secluded and quiet even though there are neighbors not far away. We brought our 2 small dogs and they loved exploring the surrounding woods. The night sky was spectacular! The house was immaculate and easy to find. It is a short drive into town. Note we were there in March and most things in town were open Thurs-Sunday. You are also about a 30 minute drive to Cacapon State park for a lovely nature center, lake, and beautiful hikes. Shelly was a very flexible responsive host. This was one of the best Airbnb stays I have had and will definitely return again!

This was our fourth year in a row staying at Shelley’s place. The kids agree with the decorative sign that she has that it’s ‘paradise’. We’ll happily stay there again if we continue to come back to the area for some relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle at home.

It was a great stay for a weekend during new years. I would recommend it if you want to spend a relax, peaceful weekend with a great river look and forest. It felt cozy and it was perfect for our stay during the new years weekend. Host was very responsive.

Shelley’s place was everything we needed and wanted during our Christmas vacation. Shelley was super responsive as we settled in all the while traveling herself. My family and I are so appreciative of her taking the time to make sure our stay was comfortable. The only bad part of our visit was leaving! We are so hopeful to return for another stay soon. Thank you, Shelley!
