Beautiful home in a great location. Close to freeways and downtown. Nothing was more than a 15 minute drive. Lots of parking which is rare in the downtown area. A very private living area with a great yard. Our toddler was obsessed with the chickens. The bed was comfortable and the room was plenty big enough for us.
Loved our stay! It’s exactly as described. Stephanie and her husband made us feel like home.
Stephanie’s home restored my faith in Airbnbs! It was exactly as described and she and Anthony were both lovely and communicative but still respected my privacy. Despite using Airbnb a ton over the past 10 years, in the past few years I’ve gone back more to hotels, because the prices are similar but now hosts often expect you to clean despite paying a hefty cleaning fee, have a ton of rules that hotels don’t, and don’t offer much in amenities and hospitality that used to set them apart. Not here though! They are laid back and provide so many personal touches to really make you feel at home, they even gave me fresh eggs :) The back yard and patio are beautiful and peaceful. I will absolutely be back if I have another conference in San Diego. Thanks for restoring my faith in Airbnbs!
We had a great stay. Our place was clean and quiet. The host family was friendly and full of great recommendations for fun things to do while in San Diego
We enjoyed staying in Stephanie and Andrew’s house. It was close to many of the things we came to see in San Diego. We could walk to many of the places to go eat and close to Balboa Park with many museums. We really enjoyed our stay in San Diego.

Although we live in an historic home just blocks from downtown, we lead a simple life, restoring our home, growing food, tending to our chickens and spending time with our friends, families and 10 year old son. We love to travel and are excited to host others for their special occasions and trips!
