Nancy's cottage was all it claimed to be. The view was breathtaking and the water was great for swimming. The hosts were lovely, friendly, thoughtful and helpful. The cottage was comfortable and the decor was charming. The location was ideal. Nancy was most helpful with recommendations for places to eat. She responded quickly to any questions we had. She anticipated our needs. We even exchanged family recipes! It is an ideal place for a relaxing vacation.

River's Edge Cottage was the perfect summer retreat. Great location to stay, swim, paddle (we brought kayaks), read and relax with the warmth, beauty and breeze of the beautiful Mira River. Easy to find and perfectly located for visiting friends, family, and the sites around Mira, Catalone, Louisbourg, Sydney, and the surrounding areas. The cottage is impeccably clean and well organized so that you can make your own meals if you decide to eat in. Stove and microwave look new and work great. Everything is very comfortable. Nancy not only responded quickly but let me know that she was available if we needed anything. The morning after checking in, she sent a simple message to let me know that if there was anything we needed or if we had any questions, please let her know. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Thank you!!

Petit chalet près d'un beau grand lac. Malheureusement, nous sommes arrivés et ça sentait le poisson à cause des gens avant nous. Nancy a essayéde faire tout son possible pour que l'odeur disparaisse et a même été louer une machine à ozone. Nous avons mis une moins bonne note pour les raisons suivantes: nous avions vus que des kayaks étaient disponibles et finalement il n'y avait qu'un canot. Après quelques jours, il y avait beaucoup de petites bibittes un peu partout et des araignées. Finalement, il était mentionné que le chalet était pour 4 personnes sur l'annonce. On a voulu inviter notre couple d'amis et Nancy a voulu nous charger un surplus pour chaqur personne. On aurait apprécié une plus grande ouverture. Sinon, l'emplacement près du lac est super. Et Nancy et son conjoint sont très gentils. Nancy nous a suggéré de super restaurants et des endroits à visiter.
