The accommodations were cozy, clean, and contained all that we needed for a great getaway. The only surprise was the fact that the upstairs loft area did not have a door separating the two bedrooms. If someone one was a light sleeper, as was the case for one in our group, the lack of a door meant they did not necessarily sleep as long as they wanted as others began to move around in the other bedroom. Besides that, the accommodations were excellent.

We had a great stay. The location was perfect- private but very close to everything. We appreciated having plenty of firewood available right on the property. There were sufficient cleaning supplies to clean before we left. Taking our own garbage was tricky on a holiday weekend, as there weren’t any transfer stations open on Sunday and Labor Day but we managed. Plenty of areas to hike right on the property.

We absolutely loved our time at Bruce and Caryn's cabin. It is tucked back in the woods for peace and quiet yet centrally located that if you want to go into town it's only a couple minutes in the car. Our kids loved the collection of movies and games. I loved waking up and having coffee on the back porch. We look forward to staying here again!

Bruce and Caryn’s place was wonderful. Clean, cozy, and full of character. My kids enjoyed unwinding with a movie from their vast collection at the day, and the back porch was the perfect spot for relaxing with a cup of coffee in the morning. Close to Inlet and Old Forge, but also tucked away from the crowds. Lots of pamphlets, maps, menus, books, etc with info on local interests. Bruce was in contact to make sure we were able to check in and to let us know they were just a text or phone call away if anything came up. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Bruce and Caryn’s place again!
