We had such a lovely stay at Barbara's place in whistable, Barbara is so nice and welcoming and made us feel at home. The ground floor room was just right for us, super clean and cosy with a gorgeous en-suite, and we were able to park our car right outside. The location is quiet but near enough to everything with the harbour etc. being about a 10 minute walk away and similar to tankerton beach. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy getaway in Whistable

Wonderful stay in Barbara's lovely calm and quiet room. My second visit, and this time a friend occupied the upstairs room. We both appreciated Barabara's attention to detail in both rooms, both in the look of the room and what is provided . Beds really comfortable, 2 vey different ensuites, both very good - I may have to book upstairs next time in order to use the rolltop bath! But downstairs shower is lovely to use too (spacious, overhead rain shower and side showerhead too). Towels provided for beach use - so good! Great to have the small fridge with breakfast supplies. Didn't use the microwave - too many good places to eat in Whitstable but would be useful for a longer stay. Barbara is friendly and also efficient, always happy to answer queries. We enjoyed our stay very much and certainly intend to return.

Barbara's place is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed throughout everything laid out beautifully. There was the advertised bed and ensuite, the shower as others have mentioned is fantastic, there was even a settee and table and chairs in the room. A light breakfast of croissants, jam, tea, or coffee was also provided. There was even a mini fridge in the wardrobe, which had milk and a bottle of orange juice. There is also a gorgeous private garden area which we made use of one sunny evening. We loved Barbara's place , and the location behind the castle is perfect and only a short walk into Tankerton or Whitstable. We will be booking Barbara's place again.
