Overall we had a great stay. There was an issue with the electrical panel and we were without electricity for the day, but they were prompt to fix it. We also had an evening without water but they fixed that fairly quickly. The only misleading part of the listing is that the pool and hot tub on the roof are communal and not private to the condo. Overall, we would stay here again.

Locating the house was straightforward. Cleanliness was a plus, with tidy rooms and ample towels, and good air conditioning in each room. Lacked essentials: - only one trash bag and no laundry detergent, making waste disposal challenging. - The constant noise from the swimming pool filter was very disruptively loud, significantly disturbing our sleep. - The incessant barking and animal sounds at night severely impacted our rest. - The absence of hot water forced us to endure cold showers. - The kitchen pots were unusable due to severely peeled coating but only one le Creuset pot was available - very bad. - Boiling water turning black was critically alarming; had to purchase water for drinking and cleaning. - Traveling with elderly parents, the elevator's breakdown on the last two days presented a significant challenge, requiring them to navigate down hazardous, railing-less stairs. Not the owner's fault, but gave us an unforgettable ordeal. This stay fell the worse experience ever.

Very nice place far enough away from the noise but close enough to the action. Has everything you need for a great beach trip!

The condo was perfect for us. It was extremely clean and spacious. The layout of having 3 bathrooms was very convenient. The location was superb, being on a quiter street but walking distance (7 mins) to the beach, and just a block off 5th Ave. Parking was free and on the street. We almost always found a space right in front. Sybil was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Everything was exactly as we wanted. The only minor drawback was that the roof deck did not have adequate railings and we did not feel comfortable bringing my 3 year old up there to swim. If you have young children, and want a pool for them to swim in, please consider this. Otherwise, I give this place an A+ rating and would stay again.

I can’t recommend this place enough. Fantastic location… close to the action (5 min walk into the bars and restaurants of Playa del Carmen), but sitting in the roof top jacuzzi was as relaxing as it gets… quiet, with an amazing view of the sea and a woodland. The apartment was spotless and our host Sybil responded instantly when we contacted her. Three of us stayed at the apartment, which included a private roof top terrace, and I would ABSOLUTELY stay here again.
