The cabin is very cosy and well equipped, also the shower is excellent. Sofas are very comfy. Electric heating works very quickly. A couple more sponges or cloths would have been useful for cleaning. There are quite a few cabins pretty close together which didn’t bother us in winter (the others were mostly all empty) but it would feel more of a lively than isolated spot in summer I imagine. There is a big road near the site but it was quiet and we didn’t experience much noise from it. Surrounding forests, just a walk or short bus ride away, are stunning and magical.

We had the most perfect daddy daughter holiday ever. The cabin was absolutely magical & extremely warm. The surroundings were idyllic & very close to what we love the most.

We (4 Adults)stayed here during a September tour of Scotland. we visited the Cairngorm national park with unique birds & wildlife. The weather was sunny and warm. We did Tomatin distillery, Loch ness (via Inverness) and Kingussie area. Aviemore village, the river Spey and the Strathspey steam heritage railway are just a walk away. The Lodge was very clean, more cosy than expected, but comfortable with all the stated facilities. The lodge, (as the photo) is of an older design but with a veranda, in a nice spot. There are about six lodges in this part. It was quiet and well placed for exploring. When the weather turned wet and cold, the heating was easily adjusted and there is a great shower! There were games and books provided. Overall we had a lovely stay.
