To be honest, this house exceeded my expectations after reading previous reviews. It was much more spacious than I thought. We had 4 families here and the kids and adults had a blast!

The house is large and well situated on the lake. The firepit and dock were lovely. The rooms are spacious. Check in was easy. There was a lot to like. For us, there were a few cons. The house is older and has more wear and tear than we expected based on the photos and the price. It's in need of a paint job, bathroom upgrade, the heating system took about half a day to warm up, the hot water in the upstairs showers took a few uses to get hot water. If you stay, know that there are no sheets on the beds. The owners put clean sheets in a plastic bag on each bed. That was not ideal for us, as we arrived late at night with kids and had to make 5 beds.

My family loved staying at Ashish’s lake house. The property is beautiful and we all really enjoyed spending our days kayaking and swimming.

The house is even nicer than described! There is a beautiful new fire pit and hardwood floors throughout. The kids LOVED the beach to the left of the dock! We had a hard time pulling them away from it, but could entice them with s’mores at the fire pit. There are a ton of sand toys, boats, life vests, etc., and the location is very private—just one neighbor, and they were extremely friendly. The master bedroom is HUGE. We were extremely impressed with this place and already booked again for next year.

We enjoyed our stay. Was just right for a family weekend getaway. The backyard was our favorite with the lake access and provided kayaks/canoe.
