The Komorebi house is a wonderfully relaxing place set back in the forest in Rhododendron. I enjoyed dinner at Koya nearby and went hiking in the gorge which was only an hour drive. David and Karen were very accommodating hosts and allowed me to check out late so that I could enjoy the place longer. The hot tub is a great feature that allows you to sit outside and enjoy the rain and the sights and sounds of the forest.

Loved this place! Me and boyfriend stayed as a mini getaway and couldn’t think of a better place! Will be coming again.

We had a nice stay here. The hot tub is a great amenity and the hosts obviously put a lot of thought into renovating this cabin to make it very peaceful. We unfortunately had quite a bit of difficulty the first few days with climate control inside as the primary heat source is a fireplace in the bedroom that was on the wrong setting when we arrived. We also struggled a bit with doors at first as the closing mechanism is unusual and they blew open on us a few times adding to the cold. Mostly user error though, so I’d still recommend a stay here if you are looking for something close to the mountain!

This AirBNB was perfect - we absolutely loved our weekend here and can't wait to return. David and Karen really thought of everything you might need to make your stay memorable and they were super communicative. A++
