Our family of 8 traveled to Mahone Bay for a family wedding. The setting was beautiful on the water and we all took advantage of the opportunity to swim in the Atlantic Ocean. The home is spacious which meant everyone had their own space when they were ready for quiet time. Having 3 full bathrooms is a huge plus especially with all of us getting ready for the wedding at the same time. Easy drive into Mahone Bay and onto Lunenburg and to explore the area. Would definitely recommend staying in Kate’s home

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The house easily accommodated our family of 7 plus 2 who came for dinner. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. And we loved the location- close to Mahone Bay yet private and on the ocean. The house must be relatively new as everything in in excellent shape. Thank you for a great stay. PS - yes there were mosquitoes but the house is very well screened. We enjoyed a few drinks on the deck - just not at dusk.

We had a beautiful stay at Kate's cottage. The space was perfect for our family gathering, and the property was so beautiful. We would absolutely stay here again. Kate communicated great with us and we can't say enough positive things about her and this space!

Super séjour La maison est géniale pour un groupe familial avec enfants. Très propre et bien équipée. Les 3 salles de bain sont très pratiques. Un peu loin des activités (moyenne de 60 minutes ). Lors de notre séjour on nous a conseillé de ne pas consommer l’eau du robinet. Prévoir chasse moustique car beaucoup d’insectes en fin de journée, difficile de manger à l’extérieur.

A fantastic place for a family reunion. We had 10 adults and we all fit comfortably into the space. The kitchen was big enough to cook Thanksgiving dinner and seat 10 at the table. The location is perfect for a get away from Halifax, and for exploring the South Shore.
