Amazing location! From the fenced in yard, fire pit, grill, to the private beach access it was perfect for my husband myself and our two kiddos.

This is our second year staying at the Teal Lake Escape and we just love it! The inside is immaculate and beautiful (exactly like the pictures) with unique decor. The addition of the large picture window over looking the lake provides perfect viewing of picturesque sunsets or thunderstorm watching. Once you step outside you can hang out on your own private beach or relax in the spacious fenced in back yard. Jim is so friendly and very responsive. I hands down recommend this place to anyone looking!

Jim’s place on the lake was ideal! We spent a week there and we’re about ready to move to the UP. We loved the kitchen and outdoor grill - there were only two seats inside but dinner at sunset in the back yard was by the lake and little beach was priceless! We appreciated the fenced yard for our child; she loved dipping her toes in the lake and watching the birds and boats and it was just a few steps from the gate to the beach. The location is ideal! In addition to being on Teal Lake, it is a quick walk to a pasty & ice-cream shop (better pasties than we had at the award winning pasty place in Munising), right next door do a delicious pizzeria - we got dinner from there the first night when we checked in. Jim was a huge help when the restaurant hours were different on their website than on Google. The grocery store is just up the street and had great variety! We were originally going to stay near Munising, but in the end we loved Marquette so much that we stayed in that area most of our week making Jim’s place in Negaunee even better than expected. Marquette has great shops & breweries as well as an excellent children’s museum and park. Jim was a great host! He met us for check and was quick to respond if we had any questions or needs. The house was clean and well stocked. We love dogs and while our dog stayed in WV, it was fun to see the dog themed art and items around the house. Jim, his wife, & their dog have a wonderful lake house and we so glad they opted to open it as an Airbnb! This stay was ideal in every way!

Clean, modern and comfortable! Artful touches throughout the house. The most beautiful sunsets!!Conveniently located for day trips along the superior coast!

Beautiful view of the lake ... decorated nicely ... awesome sunsets! Generally clean but had some dog hair on carpet and floors and furniture. Good communication with owner.
