Mary's beautiful home gives a breathtaking view of the shimmering Caribbean Sea. The home is surrounded by lush landscape. Perfect place to escape.

Our overall experience at Mary's place was great. It's roughly 30 minutes out of Kingston which was exactly what we wanted. Mary and David really made us feel at home and even went far and beyond with their kindness, which may not have seemed like much to them. I loved the amazing views of the ocean from the house at all angles. The small touches of having a fish pond with a turtle and a little swing in-house added to the value of our experience. The bedroom (E) was comfortable and the bathroom was okay. The hot water was great and we had constant running water. The breakfast was really good. A Jamaican breakfast one morning with fruit, fruit juice and coffee, then egg, toast, waffle, bacon/ ham the other mornings. WiFi was also good. We had access throughout our stay without any glitches. The beach was a completely different experience from the white-sand North Coast, but still amazing with it's black sand and rocky shore. We spent almost 5 hours there just exploring, swimming and walking along the shore. There are quite a few steps to get down to the beach after about a 2-min drive from the house, but still on the same property, so just be aware. The only other thing I'd say is to ensure to bring an insect/mosquito repellent with you for mosquitoes. I always have one on me, so that was no problem plus I had my zapper. Because of all the greenery too, you may see a lizard etc here or there, but that wasn't a bother for us. Overall, Mary's place was great and I would highly recommend it for a couple's getaway or for a small family or just friends. Thanks again Mary and David for your warm hospitality. We stayed at Mary's place for one day and only wished we could have stayed longer. Our stay at Mary's was awesome. The property is located in a private area, near Kingston. The house was gorgeous and clean and had all the amenities you need. It also has a private beach and and the views of the house to the sea are wonderful. Mary and her husband made us a coffee as a welcome into their place, that made it feel very personalized and felt like we were at home, they were the most charming and helpful host ever. Breakfast was included in the price and was excellent, including some typical Jamaican fruits. Mary responded to our messages very quickly and checked on us frequently if everything went well during our stay. We were literally sad to leave and would definitely recommend her place to anyone visiting Jamaica. Great accommodation, highly recommend! Thanks again for everything.
