One of the nicest places we’ve stayed in, perfectly kept and a private getaway! Set in huge gardens in a very well maintained village we loved everything about the place. Very spacious bedrooms and great for larger groups - even our baby was looked after with a high chair and bath provided! Thanks :)

Le gîte est situé au cœur du parc du château de rochecotte . Nous avons pu profiter de belles balades à pied dans ce parc . Idéalement situé par rapport aux châteaux de langeais d’Azay-le-Rideau et de Villandry. Gîte confortable disposant de 4 chambres et d’une 5 eme communicante

Belle maison très spacieuse située dans l immense parc du château hôtel de Rochecotte.calme absolu,on peut même voir passer des chevreuils.beaucoup de produits à disposition.l intérieur de la maison avait été décorée pour Noël.nous avons apprécié.emplacement parfait pour visiter les châteaux de la Loire.attention deux des cinq chambres partagent la même salle de bains et sont communicantes

We had a fabulous weekend here. The location was actually better than expected - a close walk to the neighboring chateaux, huge grounds to walk in, very private etc. And the property itself is excellent. It has all the needed amenities and is very warm and clean. Helpful host too! Patrick

The initial impression, as you approach the property, is undeniably awe-inspiring & the photos & reviews had us eager to experience its charm. However, the property is in great need of care & maintenance. Weeds growing out of mildew stained terraces & broken lights hanging out of weed ridden sockets. No care had been taken to air the property & it was musty. Missing lampshades & bulbs out of their sockets. Lamps throughout the property were not plugged into wall sockets or turned on. The absence of toilet roll holders in some bathrooms. 1 toilet roll per bedroom for a week's stay. Bits of wood falling from the windows & gaps where tiles had fallen off in a bathroom, hinted at the need for maintenance. The bed linen is substandard. The electricity cuts out regularly - even when only the oven is in use. 2 hair dryers operating simultaneously was impossible. The hot water water was plentiful & the house was warm. Sadly, with some maintenance & presentation this property would charm.
