A great cabin & stay for vacation. As stated, steps to loft are steep. But my 7 & 4 year old handled them well. If you or your kids are not comfortable around dogs, I will say a neighborhood dog made a couple visits. Very friendly & went away when told to go. My kiddos loved the little sandy beach & shallow water to play in. The water mat was a hit. We were able to catch several sunfish & 2 bass right from the dock. What an experience for my kids first time going fishing. Overall, a great stay!

Love the lake it is beautiful and the sand bar is so close for adventure. My family and I kayaked everywhere on the lake. The home was perfect for 6 people. Fishing was great. Flat area in the back for yard games and a large table for five and board games. We had smore's and grilled out. It was a wonderful family vacation

We had a great time at this Clearwater Lake cabin. Stacy was an amazing host. She greeted us when we arrived, provided tips for using the water toys, pointed out the sandbar nearby, suggested places to eat, and explained where we could get groceries. During the trip, I sent Stacy a few text messages. She always responded within a minute or less. We had a blast using the water mat, kayaks, and paddleboards. Water levels are low due to drought, so the beach is shallow and silty, but we would paddle out to open water towing the water mat, drop an anchor, and the kids would play for hours. One day, we drove into Saint Cloud and visited Munsinger Gardens and Quarry Park. Both were fantastic. Another day we drove to Lake Maria State Park and hiked to the lake and back. That was another fun adventure. Mostly, though, we just hung out at the cabin. We got in tons of water time each day.

We had a great stay at Joe and Stacy’s cabin. It was exactly as pictured, great location and amenities. I highly suggest taking the kayaks out to the nearby sandbars. Kids loved the water mat. Water was so low this year so didn’t make for great jumping off the dock but not much you can do about that! Joe even hooked us up with 3 fishing poles and kids caught a lot off the dock. Thanks for a great stay!
