Perfect location, just off the motorway but in very peaceful surroundings. A great base for visiting family in Rossendale and Warrington. Carol and Colin are the friendliest, loveliest people. Colin helped us in and showed us what was what. There was milk, bread, delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake, homemade jam, and even some chocolate bunnies for the kids, waiting for us! Really spacious place, with the added bonus of having travel cot and high chair, even some kids toys, so I didn’t have to bring mine. Beds very comfy, my daughter loved the bed in the smaller bedroom. The kids loved seeing Wilson the dog and feeding the fish. Colin and Carol were always on hand to see if we were ok or needed anything. Also added bonus of an electric car charger which helped us. I would highly recommend staying here and whenever we’re next back up north I would definitely stay here again!

what a truly lovely airbnb! we were made to feel so welcome from the moment we booked and chatted online - the place itself was relaxing, spacious and felt like home from home with all the thoughtful touches - it was the perfect location for the wedding we were going to at Bolholt Country Club and we would have loved to stay longer! we will 100% be making this our first choice to book again when back up in manchester. thank you so, so much for looking after us! x

I had an amazing experience staying at Carol and her husband’s house. They were so welcoming and the place was immaculate. They left very nice and fresh cake and homemade jam. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We booked this property because we had to refurbish our house and we needed a place to stay not too far away from work and school. On the day of our arrival we had the pleasure to meet Carol & Colin. They are fantastic hosts, so warm and friendly! The house is very cosy and we loved all the small details such as chocolates on the pillows, homemade chocolate cupcakes, the fridge was stocked with butter and jam and a super cute welcome sign when entering the home. The place was amazing with very spacious lounge, bedrooms and bathroom and an amazing garden view but due to the cold weather we didn't have the chance to use it. It didn't matter because we met Wilson, their little dog, and my son felt in love with it. We felt like we were actually spending time with our family. We felt home. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Thank you for making our stay so special !
