The apartment was clean and very nicely furnished. The view from the front porch was wonderful. George did provide a guidebook that had a lot of helpful information regarding the island. As mentioned in the disclaimer there really is no Wifi except in a few special spots which you can find walking around. Mobile hotspots work well as I did have a solid cell phone connection to the internet. Location is near a hill which I was able to get used to quickly if you're not used to driving up and down. A golf cart or Jeep would be fine. Island is not that large so location wise is great with a grocery store, Blac Flamingo (restaurants), very close as well as airport etc... Overall the stay was wonderful, we enjoyed our time on the island very much.

Two years in a row now we have stayed and then chosen the Flamboyan unit,(downstairs). We love the views and privacy. The kitchen is fully equipped and very clean. Large bathroom, bedroom has nice crosswind breezes. We stayed an extra week this year, new owners this year made the stay better than we expected. Quick and easy check in, central to town beaches and minimarket. The owner also does Charters on his catamaran, KatloVI charters.com we sailed to Culebrita one day and I highly recommend! We will be back!

We had three wonderful nights at Cathy and George's place and would have loved a couple more. This place is great. It's just up a hill from the main little town and a very central spot for exploring the rest of the island. Bed is very comfortable, there's a/c in the bedroom and a nice breeze through the rest of the place. We made use of the kitchen and ate in a lot. The place is very comfortable and the view is fantastic. Our only issue was that the wifi was really spotty... It only works in the bedroom and often not at all. Funny enough we found we could get the best wifi reception when out in the driveway where we parked our jeep. Other than that the place was awesome and we would definitely stay there again. George was very friendly and available for any questions or concerns. Highly recommend this spot!

Location is good - close to the airport, Tamarindo and Flamenco beaches, Harspoon restaurant, local grocery store. We hardly used air conditioner because of the breezes and island shutters which you can open anytime to get air moving. Kitchen is nice, has large size fridge and necessary minimum of kitchen ware for cooking at home. View from the balcony is ice - right to the harbor. Be ready to go on serious hills on Culebra, I advise to rent a jeep. We really missed washer, it is hard to go without one on a beach vacations. WIFI was very weak inside the unit but better outside by the door. Otherwise, it was good for a week. We enjoyed it and thankful to the owners for all quick responses.

A great place. The bed is very comfortable . What a view ! Great place to enjoy evenings watching the stars. Good hints about Culebra. Don’t miss the opportunity to charter a trip to Culebrita. Wow what a beach ! Definitely a must return. Thanks!
