Lovely traditional country town on the banks the Shannon and close to explore the Wild Atlantic bay and the Burren. Super estate nestled in to old fort. Comfortable home to rest up in, close to shops etc.

We had a great stay for three nights at Brendans house, very clean & well looked after house, there was even some snacks left on table which was much appreciated! Would definitely come back here again & it was good value.

We enjoyed a nice few days in Brendan’s house. Plenty of space for family of 4. Fully equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi. 10min walk to Kilrush for some good food/pubs options. Another pub 3min walk. Good base for exploring south Clare.

Brendan is very responsive and left lots for weary travellers to eat, the location is super and in walking distance of the marina. The accommodation is comfortable and practical with lots of storage space - would recommend

Had a wonderful stay at Brendans House. House was so clean and had all the essentials. Brendan was a great host and always quick to respond. Lovely location, would definitely recommend.
