Derrick was a good host, very attentive, and responses were quick and well informed, he also gives good recommendations. the view from the room was very nice, the WiFi and Internet was extremely spotty and slow (if you're worried about that) and there were a couple stains at the foot of the bed. other than that, overall the room was nice, and the property was as well. we came during construction, so we were not able to experience the rooftop pool. the elevator call system is wonky so you constantly have ghost calls from other visitors calling an elevator and not understanding that on the other side of the wall an elevator opened up for them. overall a good Vacation, and I'm glad I stayed at derricks property.

Derrick is great and his place is always very clean and all around in great shape. The only thing that bothered us this time was the actual hotel itself. The place has become very run down from when we were there 2 years ago and the pools were out of order for the majority of our stay. The people staying at the hotel this time seemed to be a little more rowdy and unpleasant. Overall we can’t say enough great things about Derrick we just aren’t sure we would stay at this location again.

Overall this was a good stay. My husband and I however were bummed that the rooftop pool area was under construction and not available during our stay. That was one area we were excited to have available, since it is closest to where the room is located. The ground floor pools were available and heated. The building is older and could use updating. The room has an amazing view. But my fear of heights made using the balconies not an option for me personally. My husband loved them. I actually was uncomfortable walking to the door to get in the room. The open railing made me more nervous than I thought it would. That is no fault to the listing. Just me not taking my fear of heights into more consideration. Other reviews said the bed wasn’t comfortable. There was an egg crate topper put on the mattress to make the bed super soft. Derrick was very responsive. The lock was a bit tricky to program, we just kept the code that was given to us at check in. Thank you for the use of your place.
