Very convenient for us because it was only 15 minutes from my mom’s community. The place is rustic, as we expected. It’s a lake house. Lots of seating. Great kitchen space. Lots of blankets (it was cool). The screen porch was a hit. Right on the lake with a beautiful view. We found coffee, filters, every appliance we needed. Large refrigerator. Great water pressure in the showers. My only criticism is the beds and pillows were kind of lumpy and the lighting could be brighter. Also, it’s a 15 minute drive to the grocery store, but we didn’t mind that. Highly recommended for those who want an old Florida experience.

The Retreat is an amazing place to stay. Great for a large family get away. Amazing if you love lake life, kayaking, or fishing. The house is cozy and has everything you need. Jamie was great. We met her and her family. They were super nice, helpful, and had great recommendations for they area. I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for the great time!

We had an excellent time at the retreat. I originally booked needing a place to stay with my dog and we ended up having our family Christmas dinner there. Lots of comfortable seating and a beautiful view. I would definitely stay here again.
