In general, this place is great - stellar view, comfy bed, good sized bathrooms, great patio/outdoor furniture, kitchen very well-equipped, etc. We had some hiccups, though. For the very high cleaning fee ($181), I didn’t expect to make up my own bed (downstairs bed had sheets only, blankets stacked on top, and upstairs beds didn’t even have sheets put on), nor did I expect to have to wipe up the bathroom floor upon arrival, due to hair all over. One of the pillows had bloodstains on it (which I didn’t see til end of the trip when I stripped the linens per checkout instructions), and one of the bed blankets had a bunch of hair and some stains on it. Also, there were no wash cloths, and only one hand towel (we were there for 5 nights). Be aware that the stove in the living room is not accessible to guests (locked, used during power outages only), despite being noted as an amenity in the listing photo descriptions. Also, there are not two couches in the living room as shown in the pictures - there is one couch, and two small chairs. Helpful hint - the pedestal under the washer/drier contains laundry detergent. The owner was very nice when I pointed out the cleaning/stocking issues, and gave us a very late checkout for our troubles - he uses a property management company who I am definitely not impressed with. The owner was responsive, the manager wasn’t. If the owner is able to get the issues resolved, this is an AMAZING cabin with a great view and tons of amenities!

Absolutely amazing house! We enjoyed a last minute get away for Labor Day weekend and we’re very happy when we found this was available. Perfect location as we love to canoe and fish. House has everything you need. Beautiful views. Enjoyed having a campfire at night. Close proximity to lots of different activities. We spend a day at Lake Winnepesaukee and another day at Franconia Notch. Highly recommend staying here and we are hoping to visit again!!

Couldn’t have asked for a nicer getaway. So clean, welcoming, quiet, and private. The little private beach was wonderful and the open kitchen/living room area served as a gorgeous view of the lake. Loved every minute of our stay.
