I stayed here while attending a retreat at the Himalayan Institute, which is literally 1.2 mile drive away! It was such a peaceful, cool home. Fit all my needs. It was close to Main Street of Honesdale where we dined in some great restaurants. Highly recommended! I hope to stay here again!
Pamela's place was cozy, beautiful, and immaculately clean. We loved the thoughtful decor and touches like beautifully folded towels and local coffee. The view was gorgeous -- we enjoyed it mostly from the window because it was 20° but I'm sure it would be lovely to sit out on the deck in warmer weather! Would definitely recommend and stay again if we were in the area. Thank you!
Highly recommend. Our family of four stayed at the Artful Retreat for a ski weekend at nearby Elk Mountain Ski Resort. It is about 20-25 minutes from the resort and the drive was easy and convenient. The house is perfect for a getaway in any season. In addition to skiing, it is convenient to a health retreat center, and to many scenic hikes and places. The home is very clean and comfortable. A great place to relax with friends and family and a great base for exploring the area.
My friends and I booked Pamela's place for a quiet girls' getaway. The house was super clean and peaceful - perfect for what we needed for a night of R&R. Unfortunately, we lost power for about 3 hours due to strong winds in the area. Pamela and her team were super attentative and accommodating. Brian and Sonya came to our rescue to help with heat and flashlights. We enjoyed our stay despite the hiccup. There was lots of open space to relax, the beds were comfortable, and the house had everything we needed to have a great weekend away.

Our favorite destinations are India, France, Italy, and any place with a beautiful beach! We love reading, painting, meditating, being with friends and eating great food! We are easy-going guests, who appreciate clean, well-kept properties.
