Great stay on a really scenic sheep farm

An amazing stay in rustic cabin on a beautiful sheep farm. Sally was an excellent host, very responsive, friendly, and welcoming. A highlight was she shared the amazing history of the cabin along with watching their dog herding the sheep. The cabin is beautifully decorated with a rustic theme. You can feel and see all the thought and pride the hosts put into the cabin. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, homemade blueberry muffins & fresh farm eggs along with the s’mores fixings were a wonderful personal touch. They go above & beyond to make sure you enjoy your visit. We can’t say enough good things and we will definitely be back !

If you are considering staying here - just do it. Can’t say enough good things about this experience. A perfectly cozy cabin on a gorgeous piece of land. Hosts were great, they were super responsive and eager to answer questions. John even showed us how he herds the sheep with his border collies. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this place to all of our friends.

Absolutely stunning cabin!! It was a little hard finding it at night in the dark but once we found the turn everything was easy. Gorgeous view of the sunrise in the am with lots of sheep greeting us in front of the porch. I was on a weekend trip with my teenagers for a bmx race. The boys loved it! We would love to come back when there's snow on the ground. All the little extras were truly helpful. After working 10 hrs, then driving 14 hrs straight and being on the track 10 hrs the cabin was the perfect escape, the bed is very comfortable and the fire place was beautiful. The fresh eggs, oatmeal and muffins were life savers because I had no time to get groceries. Thank you again and we will definitely be back!!

This was our third time visiting the cabin in Buena Vista, and we had another wonderful time. It was very peaceful and relaxing. And I guess we're a lucky charm because it's managed to snow every time we've stayed, and it's just a beautiful place when it snows a little.
