Our cabin has all the amenities a family could need, but is the perfect getaway from city life. Located on 5 secluded acres in Hancock, Wisconsin. Minutes from downtown Wautoma. Surrounded by woods on all sides, with plenty of open area for outdoor activities. A peaceful setting to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while listening to the birds from the porch swing, or around the crackling fire at night, toasting marshmallows. Our furnished cabin offers: -2 Bedrooms- One queen (bedroom 1), one queen bed (bedroom 2), full futon (living room). -Dining area seats 6 comfortably -Bathroom with walk-in shower -Full kitchen with cookware, dinnerware, a coffee maker, mixer, crock pot, range, refrigerator, and microwave oven -Front porch with porch swing, charcoal grill (CHARCOAL AND LIGHTER FLUID NOT PROVIDED) and campfire pit. *Campfire pit not available during the winter months if there is a large amount of snow. -Small swing set -Washer and dryer -Towels provided -Blankets, pillows, and sheets are furnished on the beds. If you will be bringing your own bedding and towels, please communicate that to the host before your reservation date. -Horseshoe pit with horseshoes (not available for winter months) -Television and DVD player with a variety of DVDs (However, please be aware there is no cable/satellite television or internet service) -Board games -Gas-burning stove in living room available during cold weather months -Air conditioner (seasonal) -The rental is equipped for basic housekeeping.

I needed a quiet place to unwind, and this cabin far exceeded my expectations. Surrounded by trees! I felt like I was in the middle of the forest, I barely heard any traffic noise, it was the perfect setting. And yet I didn't have to feel like I was "roughing it". The cabin has all the amenities and updates I could want for a very comfortable stay. And it was probably the cleanest place I've ever stayed in! Even though there is no wifi, I could text and use my data with ease. Phone calls had a little bit of breaking in and out (I have Cricket which I think uses Verizon towers?) but I could still make the call and have a conversation, just needed to walk around and finding a spot with good reception. I hope to find time for another quiet retreat at this cabin, and I've already recommended it to my family and friends!

**Spring/Summer/Fall - The area offers plenty of lakes for boating, swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoeing. There are also places to hike, bike and golf. Winter - The surrounding area is a great opportunity to hike, ski, snowboard, sled, snowshoe, cross-country ski and snowmobile.
Suggested Area Activities:
- Within a 15-minute drive from our cabin, Two Oaks North Golf Club is a public
18-hole course set amidst the natural beauty of rural Waushara County or the
27-hole Waushara Country Club features elevated tees, wooded fairways, and
plentiful hills and water features.
- Water lovers enjoy swimming, sailing, water-skiing, canoeing and boating on
the county's waters. There are more than 30 public access/boating sites in
Waushara County; and, for a leisurely cruise, there's a stern-wheeler waiting
at nearby Clear Water Harbor on the Chain O'Lakes.
- Marl Lake is located 7 minutes from our cabin. Marl Lake County Park provides
access to the lake's most popular fishing and swimming spot. Amenities
include a shelter house, boat landing, restrooms.
- We are also 15-20 minutes from Silver Lake. (328 acre lake located in
Waushara County) Visitors have access to the lake from public boat landings.
- Rent an over-sized inner tube or a compact canoe and paddle down
Waupaca’s Crystal River.
