This guest house is set on 20 acres of land that is bordered by Hyco Creek on the east and Caswell game land on the south. Great place for privacy and is a close get away for nature lovers, fishermen, hunters, or just a quiet place to escape the city! Direct access to Hyco Creek and the game land is available through the property - you could even kayak into Hyco lake if you wanted! Property has a secured gate for entrance and exit and property is located about 1/4 mile down an access road. The house is a modular home with an addition built onto it making it a rather large, comfy living space. There is a living room, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a small gym, a screened in back deck, a small office area, and a large fenced in back yard. There is also a small pond directly adjacent to the house as well. There are also several trails to walk which have about 120 ft in elevation change total! Property reminds me of the foothills of the mountains with the changing terrain features.

My wife and I and our friends for the weekend at Pine Ridge. We had a great time, and Pine Ridge had everything we needed to unplug and hang out. The host, Stephan, was responsive to any questions I had. We had no issues during our stay. We were able to walk the grounds. It was very peaceful, and the river was nice to walk on. We will certainly consider visiting again.
Perfect place for us for our needs for this trip. Loved the property and Stephen was very helpful, responsive, and flexible and even made some adjustments for our needs.
great place and host
We had a great stay while I was racing at VIR. Place was as described. Our dog loved the huge enclosed backyard.
Couldn't stay for to many days but had a great time exploring the neighboring areas and all they have to offer. Most likes are at least a 20-25 minute drive from the house but the house makes up for it in trails you can walk, if your a nature lover and LOVE(and I mean LOVE) the woods this is a great place, we even got to see turkeys one morning. We were lucky and arrived the night before the Danville Pittsylvania County fair which was loads of fun! Only thing I would change about the house is seating, there is only a love seat in the living room and a single chair with a glider on the cover back porch.

The property is roughly 70 acres and is gated. There are three houses on the property and my house is on the premises as well. The guest house is down the access road in a heavily wooded area, you cannot see any other houses from there. Perfect area for seclusion and nature lovers.
There are a lot of things to do in the area even though it is very rural. You may have to drive for a little bit but there are large local farms, farmer's market, downtown Hillsborough, downtown Danville, Virginia International Raceway, Hyco Lake, Caswell County game land through out the county - all within 30 minutes from here!
