Sehr schöne, geschmackvolle Einrichtung, sehr gutes Essen, sehr nette Gastgeber. Wir würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten wenn wir den Borobudur sehen möchten. Gratis Transfer zum Tempel morgens um 4 Uhr, nur 5 Min mit dem Auto. Viele gute Tipps. Helfen beim organisieren der Weiterfahrt. Unterkunft nur zu empfehlen 👍👍

So I went to this place as I was staying in Yogya and wanted to see Borobudur. I thought I would need an entire day to see the monument so I thought a place near the monument would be handy. In hindsight I should have stayed in Yogya as it turns out it is only about 2 hours away and half a day is more than enough to see the temple. The place is very traditional and the food that was served was some of the best I had eaten in Java, however, I wanted a peaceful retreat and unfortunately the homestead has a road on either side of the property and it was a bit difficult for me to sleep (although I am a light sleeper). Never the less, a nice place, friendly people good food, what more do you need.

I have a fantastic time staying with Yang & family. The host is great and the place is well furnished and complete. Abang Erwin, being the host was driving to places and visit. He brought me to have a lunch when during the Hari Raya , most of the eateries is closed. He also show me around the neighbourhood and introduced me to the local people and even a prominent oil-painting artist - Encik Sony ; where he bought a nice piece of land along the major river in Borobudur. I also went to Amanjiwo to have a nice lunch and coffee courtesy to ABang Erwin hospitality. This is a nice place to stay in the vicinity of local people and neighborhood. Food is great. Room is decent. Stay here!

We just thought about seeing the Borobudur Temple, but our two hosts - the parents of Yang who isn't living there - made our short stay to much more. Borobudur - the village and the surrounding - is beautiful and offers many interesting places to visit. Our hosts really gave their best and made for us the best out of our time! Thank you very much again! Not to forget: The food (three meals a day are inclusive!) is delicious - you can try real, fresh javanese food. The room where we slept was nice but very simply, so it's perfect for a short stay, when you don't need warm water and that stuff. For everybody who wants to visit the Temple it's perfect, you can walk there or take a bike.
