This place needs updating, even for Cuba. Exterior door handle fell off when I tried to lock the door from the outside. Locking mechanism needs to be replaced. I needed to contact the local manager, who was very helpful, to lock the exterior door when I left the house for dinner. Water pump is loud and runs every 60 seconds, 24 hours. AirBnb should indicate that this house is on the street, with a full row of houses between this house and the coast. The location on the AirBnb map, and the description of the location lead me to believe it was on the coast. Added fees make this a bad deal compared to accommodations on the same street. I have traveled in Cuba for more than 26 years, hosting many groups there. I understand the challenges and lack of resources. I rarely leave negative reviews. The owner no longer lives in Cuba, which may explain the lack of updating some basic things.

Loved the location and the ability to see the ocean while having breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Shower had good, hot water. The pool table was super cool. Everything was perfect.

Was a perfect stay. Beach walking distance. The host was awesome and did much more than needed. Will be staying here again next time I visit.
