David's place is located inside a camping site, just outside Caernarfon. Its a normal house, that could look great but unfortunately it's not very well maintained and equipped. Dust and moisture all around and not very clean overall. The biggest thing is the electricity. You need to buy card to put in the meter otherwise you won't have electricity. We arrived late at night, the shop was closed (opens from 9 am until 5 or 6 pm) and the host didn't leave us a card so no electricity for us. If you pay more than £500 you would expect the host to leave you at least a £5 card so you won't stay in dark without heat. Next morning we bought a £20 card that will last for 2-3 days. Everything is electric in the house (heat, shower etc). So a big minus to the host for not leaving a card for us.

David was a very helpful and responsive host. Nice modest cottage, great base for our visit to Caernarfon to visit family. The site is well equipped for those who wished to stay around the site. Great base to explore North West Wales and Snowdonia. The accommodation is basic and modest, but has everything you could need.

The cottage was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped , Ideally located & the holiday complex was well maintained. My elderly parents did find coming downstairs to the toilet at night a little tricky. But we had a lovely short break!! Thank you David!!

This is a nice place to stay. Not to expensive And clean and all what you want. You have to buy a card for the electric and was a little bite strange for me but it work well. We did sleep really good and the shower was so nice after we where wet because of the rain. You have to put a switch on but that works well.
