Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a long-term place! The location is very quiet and right by the 1 Muni bus that goes across the entire city. There is a ton of street parking just across the street around the Sea Cliff area which is one of the safest neighborhoods (I've heard). The walls are a little thin so you can hear people moving around early in the morning/night, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me at all. I was in the room that was across the kitchen so I probably heard more noise. It's very nice that you get your own designated spot for your dry goods & in the fridge. I may recommend bring your own pots/pans, since there are some there, but I was unsure on how old they were. The hosts provided paper towels/toilet paper which was a great little amenity since you didn't have to worry about buying that. You do need your own laundry detergent, but the washer and dryer worked great and I never ran into needing to us it when someone else was using it.

I stayed a month in Doug's house. It's a clean and quiet house, the rooms are fitted with their own bathroom and the kitchen has ample space. Doug's been very responsive and helpful when I arrived. I liked the area, right next to the Land Ends and Presidio parks. There are many restaurants around and the bus run right from the corner of the street to the city center. I recommend Doug's house and would come again.

I stayed at Doug’s place for about 5 months or so. The room looks exactly as pictured. I loved that each room has its own bathroom. The room was just what I needed, had enough space & drawers, nice, and clean. Communication with Doug is also very easy as he responds very quickly in an hour or less and is helpful. The kitchen and common areas are routinely cleaned and maintained by the owner. I liked that there is a decent variety of cooking items & kitchen appliances like an oven and mini toaster oven that make the place feel homey and comfortable. The only thing you may need is a couple of eating utensils. The neighborhood and location is also great. There is always street parking nearby and the neighborhood is a safe and quiet residential area with tons of great restaurants to try. It is also close to UCSF Parnassus. If you are a student like me, I would recommend this place since the neighborhood and house is quiet and perfect for studying/resting. I think the layout of the rooms help keep everyone comfortable and maintain privacy, as no one really hangs out in the common areas. I also got lucky with room mates who were very kind/pleasant. I felt like I got really lucky, and could not have asked for more from my stay!

Had a great stay! Super clean apartment with new appliances. Had no issues during my several month stay and would likely come back.

Fully furnished. Great amenities. Personal bathroom. And I got lucky with the roommates!
