We had a lovely 2 nights away staying in The Potting Shed. It was decorated beautifully with lots of thought going into all of the finishing touches which really made you feel at home. The basket of snacks/drinks when we arrived was a lovely surprise, and the little extras such as hot water bottles and milk in the fridge was perfect. The hosts were very helpful with the recommendations and check in instructions before hand. We would really recommend The Plough for food and drinks , we actually ended up going twice throughout our stay! Overall would definitely recommend The Potting Shed, thank you for a brilliant stay!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Very private and secluded. There was some noise during the day from the Clay Shooting up the hill but you can still have a wonderful break. Kitchen was very well equipped, bed and sofa were comfy and everything was as expected. Would visit again.

We had a lovely time in the Potting Shed. Derek gave very clear instructions for how to find the place and gave lots of information about the area. The Potting Shed had great amenities and even little extras that made the experience even better. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The stay at the potting shed was such a perfect getaway, you could not fault this place in anyway. I got no doubt in my mind that if i come back to the Lake District, i will be staying here again!!

From the minute we arrived with stress free check in and comfortable accommodation the whole experience was as described in the listing and the sun shone for the 2 full days we were there which was an added bonus.
