By far the best sailing experience we’ve ever had. Nikos and his wife Ria are wonderful hosts and a lot of fun to travel with. Nikos is a very experienced sailor who can navigate the at times rough Aegean Sea with ease while ensuring his guests are safe and comfortable. If you are looking for a unique and off-the-beaten-path trip in Greece, sail with Nikos. We will sure do it again.

Finding a great charter sail yacht was not easy but we did find it! We had an amazing trip with Nikolas and his assistant Maria. He is a great skipper, cook and very generous. The boat is brand new, in perfect working order. It's like a 5 star accommodation. We did a 12 days trip in the Cyclades from Paros and then back to Chios. Nikolas knows the sea very well and we felt safe at all times. His knowledge of his country made the trip very easy. He loves his island of Chios and we fell in love with it as well. We never had to look at any menu or where to eat, he got our back. We choose which Island to go but Nikos always recommended us what he thought was the best. He was right If you're looking for the right way to sail in Greece, you found the right guy. We're very exigent in our assessments standards so if we had an amazing holiday. You will as well. Nikos became a friend and we hope to come back next season. Thank you Captain, thanks Maaaaria and Hasta Luego.

If you are reading this, and like Olivia and I you were a little bit lost when searching for a yacht charter in Greece, congratulations, you don't need to look any further. The host: Nikos, or the Greek Alec Baldwin as we secretly referred to him (sorry Nikos ; ) is a complete gentleman. His knowledge of the island of Chios, and Greece in general is very impressive and he is always letting you know interesting facts about the location, or produce, history etc. He's also a very accomplished sailor, gained through 2 generations of maritime experience. We always felt very safe on the boat with him, and when we were walking around the different ports he acted as our guide and confidant. He's also very handy in the kitchen and knows the best places to eat inland! Seriously, just let him order a nice mezze and you won't be disappointed. We didn't look at a menu the whole time we were there! The boat: "Nemesis" is a beautiful boat exactly as shown in the pictures on the listing. Modern fittings and Scandinavian design make for a very comfortable living space with great areas for dining and sunbathing. This is a serious sailing ship, which you are welcomed to learn about and assist in the voyage. Our trip: We scheduled our stay for 6 nights on the Nemesis in which time we were able to completely tour the whole island of Chios around the coast. Quaint little ports with a variety of sandy/stone beaches. Beautiful secluded spots for swimming and play, and a multitude of local tavernas and restaurants serving the best and freshest fish dishes we have had in a long time. We also had the privilege to visit a local medieval village who were having their annual fiesta, an experience we will not forget ; ) Sailing and play during the day, and food and drink in the evening with usually a 20 metre walk to bed from the restaurant! Will be be back: Most definitely! We have made a good friend in Nikos, and his wife Ria and give them the highest recommendations for a wonderful holiday experience.

My husband and I hired the Nemesis for 5 nights with 4 of our close friends to kick off our honeymoon. We boarded the 44.5m Yacht in Chios and disembarked in Patmos. All we can say is 10/10 what a wonderful experience. Nikos the yacht owner ensured that the yacht was in pristine condition and stocked to the brim with beautiful cheeses, smoked hams, nibbles, water and a variety of alcohol; it was like stepping into a 5 star apartment. As far as comfort was concerned you had all that you could possibly need, 3 double bedrooms the master with ensuite and plenty of storage space ( the 3 couples all had suitcases), 2 toilets (separate toilet in the main bathroom). A well equipped kitchen with plenty of cupboards, gas stove top, oven, sink and bench space and a compact living area. There is also plenty of room upon the deck to sit, play cards, eat and enjoy the sun; this yacht comfortably fits 6 including the skipper. Nikos had Michael as our captain to look after us for our sailing voyage and the 6 of us found him to be simply fantastic, kind, gentle, funny and even taught us the basics of sailing. Michael sat with us each evening and according to weather always provided us with a few options, we went to so many amazing swim spots (just like the pictures you see of Greece and their beaches) we docked is some of the most quaint little villages that you would never know existed. We felt very safe at all times in Michael's hands, he is a great captain. If you are in Greece and you want to experience a taste of something completely different, something that most would often dream about, do yourself a favour and hire out the Nemises, you won't regret it.
